Relevant experience and qualifications

During the last 14 years as the Director for Management of the UN Office at Vienna, I was in charge of managing human and financial resources, and information technology services, among others. One of my achievement was overseeing the enhancement of budgetary and financial management including treasury operation. Enterprise risk management was also part my responsibility. I gained governance experience as a member of the Board of Trustees of the UN International School (UNIS), New York, and a member of the UN Joint Staff Pension Board (UNJSPB). During those tenures, I served on the UNIS Contract Committee, and chaired the UNJSPB Budget Committee and the Audit Committee.

Candidate statement

I have enjoyed the benefits of UNFCU membership for over 30 years and, with my extensive professional experience, am now in a strong position to contribute to the mission of UNFCU, by ensuring its continued stability, competitive advantages and resiliency in a volatile environment, with a view to providing the best financial products and services to its members globally. If elected, I intend to work collaboratively with other Board Members and the management to, among other things, further explore innovative solutions by leveraging technology and diverse backgrounds and experiences of all concerned.
