Privacy policy FAQs
We updated our policy to comply with the new standards introduced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our privacy policy now provides members with more transparency into how we collect and use member data.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) defines the standards for processing the personal information of European Union residents. Under the GDPR, privacy obligations apply across all industries and sectors. These include social media operators, merchants, governments, hospitals, and financial institutions.
Protecting the personal information of our members globally has always been a priority at UNFCU. To provide more transparency into our data protection practices, as required by the GDPR, we updated our privacy policy. In addition, we added cookie alerts to unfcu.org. Visitors to our site are now reminded that the site requires cookies for some of its features to work as intended. We also made it easier for members to contact us with requests regarding their personal information.
